The scene towards the Isle of Arran is an immortal classic of the Scottich artistic community and with good reason. The majestic scenery never fails to elevate the spirit. R.V. Brown has painted such scenes many times, but no two are the same, the conditions constantly change and the lighting is never the same twice, each image of this wonderful scene is different and each brings with it its own inner narrative.
